VARIETY CYCLE 100% Albariño 2011 As in 2010, the year 2011 was also one year climatologically speaking unusual. On a cold winter with rainfall concentrated in February, followed by a dry spring and warm with heavier precipitation in May. The curd was abundant marking a fairly load cycle strains. The summer was dry and sunny and this contributed to further advance the cycle and therefore the harvest was swift and Frades Sea began in the September 8, two weeks earlier than usual. DEVELOPMENT While vintage lasted accompanied the weather, making it especially easy in a campaign without serious complications. All the grapes are hand-sorted at the winery, key to quality in years like this maturation is uneven between different plots. The disposal was 15%. SERVICE AND FOOD PAIRING Serve at 8-10 º C (when the blue galleon waves appears on the label). Ideal companion for all kinds of seafood like scallops and oysters.
